Our 2026 scholars

Check out the cohort of 2026 scholars, grouped by year level of study. Undergraduate scholars are studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a specialisation in Power Engineering, at the University of Canterbury or at the University of Auckland. Note that some scholars are supported by a specific Industry Member Scholarship as indicated by the relevant logo.

The support of scholars by members of the Aruhiko Power Excellence Engineering Trust has:
  • sustained a 24+ year industry-academic partnership since 2002 to enhance the industry talent pipeline for the power engineering discipline
  • awarded almost 400 scholarships to engineering students at University of Canterbury and University of Auckland to support their journey into the workforce
  • supported 189 BE(Hons) graduates in the Minor in Power Engineering at UC alone since its inception in 2016 to end 2023.
